We start the tour in Bucharest and drive towards Sibiu, one of the most important cultural centres of Romania and formerly the centre of the Transylvanian Saxons. We discover at a slow pace the rich history of the Transylvanian Saxons, first of all in Sibiu, later in Sighișoara with its medieval citadel and then in Brașov. Those are the 3 cities that we will visit on walking tours, each of them having different astonishing things to be discovered.
Connecting the 3 cities, our tour takes you to several special landmarks in the rural areas. You will discover the surprising fortified churches, like that in Viscri and Biertan with the beautiful local traditions.
During your 6days/ 5nights trip we will unveil the local legends and real history that have made Transylvania so famous. The myths of Dracula and Vlad the Impaler will be part of our journey when we visit the famous Bran Castle and Sighișoara. On the way back to Bucharest you will discover Sinaia and the gorgeos Peleș Castle, the 19th century summer residence of the Romanian Royal Family.
